Jeffersonville Vermont
Jeffersonville is in an area more commonly known as “Smugglers’ Notch” because it is the location for the popular (and very family-friendly) Smugglers’ Notch Ski Area, situated on the northern flank of Mount
Mansfield. Surrounded by more than 3,000 acres of pristine forest, spectacular mountain vistas, and postcard-perfect scenes, Jeffersonville is a very special part of rural Vermont.
A village of about 600 people, Jeffersonville is located within the town of Cambridge, east of Burlington, and just northwest of Stowe. Jeffersonville is situated in the Lamoille Valley at the junctions of Vermont Route 15 and Vermont Route 108 – the road leading from Smuggler’s Notch to Stowe, Vermont.
This spectacular corner of Vermont is renowned for its history and outdoor experiences. Tour the many quaint nearby Vermont towns, exploring everything from dining to shopping for crafts and antiques, art galleries, wineries, breweries and Vermont-made products. Burlington, Vermont, with its fine dining, shopping, and many other attractions is less than an hour away.
Jeffersonville has one PK-6 elementary school, and older students may attend the nearby Hyde Park middle and high schools.
