Westford, Vermont Β is home to a covered bridge, one of about one hundred left in Vermont. It is one of two that were located in the town center. The “sister” bridge burned during a fire that started in a nearby creamery around 1910. An iron bridge was then built but was destroyed in the “Flood of 1927”.
According to the United States Census Bureau, Westford has a total area of 39.34 square miles, of which 39.3 square miles is land, and 0.04 square miles of it is water. The population of Westford is approximately 2000 people.
