The Town of Shelburne is a geographically small (22.3 square miles) town lying on the shores of Lake Champlain in the southwestern part of Chittenden County, just minutes to Burlington. Shelburneβs early economy was farming, sheep raising and fruit growing. Shelburne is also home to three of Vermont’s most popular tourist attractions: the Shelburne Museum, Shelburne Farms and the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory.
