Real Estate in Bolton Vermont
Because of Bolton’s small community, rural feeling, and close proximity to outdoor mountain recreation, real estate in Bolton Vermont is always popular. Just ask the year-round residents who live near the Bolton Valley Ski Area, a high mountain alpine ski village surrounded by over 5,000 pristine acres offering telemark, Nordic, backcountry, and night skiing, and snowboarding.

Bolton, Vermont has more than twenty mountains at over 2,000 feet, and nearly as many more just under that. It’s an ideal location for skiers and snowboarders, and for hiking on the Long Trail from Camel’s Hump to Mount Mansfield. The only road access is through the neighboring towns of Richmond and Duxbury. The principal transportation artery in the town is US Route 2, which follows the north side of the Winooski. I-89 passes through the town parallel to Route 2 but does not have an interchange there.
