Homes in Vermont

I often find myself grateful to live in such an amazing state as Vermont. We have wonderful people, beautiful landscapes, prestigious colleges and universities, a great local food scene, and the list goes on and on. Perhaps that is also why I love helping people find a home of their own in Vermont!

Many think of the Green Mountain State as rolling hills, red barns, and covered bridges. This is entirely true in many places (lucky us!) but when it comes to finding a home to purchase, there are different options available to you. Urban settings, suburban neighborhoods, 55+ communities, and of course, quiet bucolic small towns. I have listings in all of these places and can work with you to find your perfect home in an ideal setting for you! Take a tour with me through some of my featured properties and learn how many options you have.

For those who really want to find some quiet –

You don’t have to drive very far from Vermont’s largest city of Burlington to find quiet villages and multiple acres. In these towns you are likely to know most of the people in the general store and at the yearly town meeting. A traffic jam may consist of a tractor or two and you will be able to experience the beautiful changing seasons and abundant wildlife right outside your front door. Sound perfect to you? Then consider one of these listings:

435 Bartlett Rd.

28 Tuckaway Pond Rd.

For those who want a neighborhood feel –

You still want your own green space but maybe no cows in it? We have lots of wonderful suburban neighborhoods in the towns surrounding Burlington, VT. These are places where you will have an ample yard and quiet streets but will still be close enough to your neighbors to borrow an ingredient without too much trouble!

 203 Bradford Terrace

268 Bonanza Park

For those looking for a little more bustle and walkability –

While you won’t be able to find a true “big city” anywhere in Vermont, we have lots of great places with an urban feel and all the amenities of a more concentrated area. Living in these locations offers a chance to leave the car at home and be within walking distance to parks, shops, restaurants, schools, and public transportation.

Sienna Lane

49 Grove St.

For those who want to downsize or own a low-maintenance home –

We have great 55+ communities here in Vermont! Many of these homes are low maintenance and are perfect for people looking to downsize. You have more time to enjoy the weekends or retirement when you’re not worrying about maintaining a larger home. Many of my listings in these communities include onsite recreation and fitness centers as well.

136 Williston Woods

If you want the ultimate convenience of a condo –

With this low maintenance property you not only get the ease and convenience of a condo but you can ski right out your back door! A great location for a vacation home, investment property, or a primary home for anyone who loves to wake up to stunning views.
