- Smuggler’s Notch is not just for people who like to slide down a mountain. The area also includes an ice skating rink, indoor activity zone, water park, zip line, snowmobiling, and even more. They are dedicated to offering families plenty to do no matter what the season.
- Catamount Outdoor Family Center in Williston, VT offers mountain biking, snowshoeing, hiking, birdwatching, and more. In the summer months they hold weekly races for bikers and runners and rentals are available as well. If you want to get outside and get moving, this is the place to go!
- Located in Burlington VT, Petra Cliffs is a great place to spend a few hours when the weather is less than friendly. They offer climbing walls and instruction for all abilities and a great beginner package that includes rentals!
- Shelburne Farms is always a favorite and they have an exhaustive list of family events, camps, and educational opportunities. Enjoy weekends with more structured events such as the annual Harvest Festival or Sleigh Rides in the snow or just go and visit the animals!
