Technology is changing the landscape of real estate! While the personal face-to-face interactions with customers and clients is still extremely important, the use of the latest technology to draw in potential buyers when listing homes is here! Social media and other technology can enhance the experience and bring a potential buyer to see my client’s home over the other competitive homes in the area simply because there’s more see. Matterport 3D and drone photography are two ways in which I bring my client’s listings above the competition.
Matterport 3D gives online buyers an immersive and interactive virtual tour. A special camera is placed in a location where a 3D picture is taken and then relocated six to eight feet at the next location throughout the entire home. A buyer can virtually walk through the home, turning around and look in all directions. This amazing technology offers the potential buyer a photo floor plan of the home. While professional still photography is used in certain applications and most other agents are just using this medium alone, 3D is the wave of the future and I am already incorporating this awesome technology for my clients. My clients love it and the response from prospective buyers on social media has been amazing!
